Port Railway (Rotterdam) partially closed

From Tuesday 2 November to Monday 8 November 2021, extensive work will be carried out on the Havenspoorlijn (in the port of Rotterdam) between the Botlek yard and the Maasvlakte yards. The Havenspoorlijn will then be closed to all train traffic between the Botlek yard and the Maasvlakte yards. During this period, the Theemsweg route will be put into use, making an important bottleneck for rail transport in the port of Rotterdam, the Calandbrug, a thing of the past.

The Botlek yard and the associated terminals and rail connections will be accessible to DB Cargo during this period of Wednesday 3 November (3 pm) and 6 November (11 pm).
