Status of renewal of Kijfhoek sorting station

On 2 April 2024, the trial operation of the recently renovated hump installation at Kijfhoek will start. The new installation, tracks and switches will then be tested for seven weeks. This covers the period between Easter and Whitsun. During the test operation, the contractor will start the conversion of bundle 3. This means that in the period from 2 April to 20 May, only bundles 1 and 2 will be available to DB Cargo for composing departure trains. Read more in the latest issue 'DB Cargo Netherlands informs'.
