Works ‘Kijfhoek’ are on schedule

The complete renewal of the Kijfhoek sorting yard is progressing steadily and is currently on schedule. In the period from 29 January to 12 February 2024, the shunting hill will not be usable due to the replacement of a number of important switches that together form the so-called 'Swiss cross' on the hilltop. To cope with the resulting capacity restriction, DB Cargo has taken a number of measures that will lead to service adjustments for customers of the wagonload network in (Rotterdam) Botlek and in Moerdijk.
