From Denmark via the Waalhaven to Ireland

DB Cargo recently transported a batch of 5 cm heavy plates. thick from the Danish Frederiksveark to the Waalhaven in Rotterdam. From there the party of 300 tons made the crossing to Ireland. The party was part of DB Cargo's international single wagonload network and needed four days from factory to quay.

For the transport, DB Cargo used its own six-axle trucks with a 75-tonne load capacity, which are ideally suited for heavy loads.
